Announcements for the Week of October 11

Hello everyone,

There are a lot of events/fun things coming up this week!~

Practice

• We will be having practice tomorrow, Monday, October 12, 2015 at the ARC Pavilion South End from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
  • If you’re not exactly sure where that is, just go to the place where the UCD Bookstore was relocated (or where the New Student Celebration was) and look for one of the officers and/or the lion heads 🙂
    
• We will also be having practice again this Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Giedt 1003 from 7:30pm-10:00pm.
• Office Hours will be start this Friday, October 16, 2015 outside the Pavilion in front of the south east entrance by the ramp from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
  
  • If you don’t know what office hours are, office hours are basically a time where you can get 1-on-1 help from the officers and learn new things!

Events

• Game Social/Potluck: “Come out to our game social and have fun with other GT members!! Bring any console games, board games, and mind games. Also let’s not forget about food and snacks. So it will be a potluck as well so bring out some noms noms to share with everyone and let’s have some fun.” -Andy
  • Location: Chelsea’s house (everyone one is welcome 🙂 ~ message Andy if you need the address)
  • Time: Saturday, October 16, 2015 from 6:00-9:00pm.

Fundraisers

• Dot Island Fundraiser: On Wednesday, October 14, 2015, we’re going to Dot Island to hang out and eat yummy food ~ Come join us! xD
  • Location: Dot Island Grill
    
  • Time: All day (but the GT officers will be there at 8pm)
    
  • Flyers: All you have to do is present the GT flier as you make your purchase. You can get fliers from Andy personally or they will be right next to the cashier at Dot Island Grill.

• Feiyue Orders: Feiyues are the shoes we wear during performances and if you’d like to purchase them then just write your name down and shoe size on the spreadsheet below.

  • The deadline to purchase feiyues will be Friday, October 23 and they’re $12 per pair. If you have any remaining questions, don’t hesitate to ask any of the officers!

Random fact of the day about one of the officers: Tien wears a size 3 in kids shoes.
